As a mother of three amazing children, I recently had a conversation with my middle child about Motherhood. As a mother, it’s heartbreaking to hear that your child might not want to ever have children. I can recall hearing those words come out of her mouth and instantly experience heartbreak.

Motherhood Dream
There is no beautiful story of a white picket fence, a bank account with endless amounts of zero’s, a day with more than twenty hours, and a staff at home to help you with the children and daily household needs. Motherhood is a beautiful story of that will take you through a rollercoaster of memorable moments, moments that will make you proud, moments that will break your heart, moments that will terrify you, moments that will make you proud, and moments that will fill you with love.

Everyday Heroes
Mother’s are everyday heroes, conquering each day to make it the best day that they can to make sure that their family is taken care of regardless of the tasks needed for the day. The long days, the hours at the office, trying to decipher homework that we may not know the answers too, late nights on the field, juggling dinner and laundry, and ending your night close to midnight after preparing lunches for the next day. Each mother is a HERO, regardless of the circumstances that we live with, we pour our hearts into our family and conquer each day with the special powers given to us to go above and beyond for our families.

The Reward
The reward of motherhood is indescribable, there are no words to describe the beauty of the journey. As a mother I want to provide each of my children the freedom to make their own choices and learn from their experiences, my one advice to my daughter is that if seeing my daily struggles or seeing the way that children have to live with so many challenges in the world has influenced her to not want to have children. The one thing that I can guarantee her is that the beauty of motherhood is the best gift given to us, we are #MARVELousMom built with superpowers that can conquer the world for our children and family.

Balance
The key to motherhood is creating balance within your family and time for your self. Ending the week with movie night with the family than enjoying a glass of wine while treating yourself to spa night, is key to self-care.
